Megunica in Amsterdam

Een van de populairdere films van het AFFR 2009 was Megunica van Lorenzo Fonda (2008) over de animatie/graffitti artiest Blu. De film is zelden te zien, dus als je hem gemist hebt op ons festival, dan een hele week herkansing bij onze vrienden van SmartProjectSpace: vertoningen van 14-1 tot en met 31-1.

Snakebit

The secret preview

Snakebit is made for American public television, but has not been aired. AFFR is therefore even more proud that the movie is to prepremiere in the Netherlands. The movie is eagerly awaited for months by many fans. Sam Wainwright Douglas, the director is one of the special guests on the AFFR.

New film: The film Dark City on Sunday 01.11.2009 at 20.00 in Cinerama 2 is replaced by a very special screening of the film Taxandria.
New film: The Pre Architecture Shorts program (check it out!) has been added with the fabulous Logorama

The Citymedia program at the underground station Beurs starts daily every hour from 6 PM till 12 PM with a very special program with items about the AFFR films: Visual Acoustics and Koolhaas Houselife and the complete screening of Civic Life-Who killed brown owl? and Civic Life – Moore Street.

Cancelled film: The short Utopia 3, the world’s largest shopping mall, has been cancelled. Replacement on Friday is the beautiful classic Daybreak Express.
Cancelled shorts program: The screening of Avant Garde Architecture of Hope 2 will be replaced by a repeat of Avant Garde Architecture of Hope 2.

Debate Agenda Rotterdam

Start: 15.30 Talkshow about sustainability and architecture. AIR invited Rotterdamse filmmaker Jan Louter to develop a documentary series about this theme. The afternoon is moderated by AFFR-programmer, architect and filmmaker Jord den Hollander. After an introduction of Jan Louter and his work, Jan Louter introduces four guests to talk about sustainability in architecture.
